Information
Why buy a sensory bottle for your baby or toddler?
-
To stimulate their senses: sight, hearing, touch. Even during their active oral exploration phase in the first few months, the sensory bottle offers advantages thanks to its completely safe shape and texture ( BPA- and phthalate-free PET plastic. Organic bamboo cap).
- It allows you to exercise gross and fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination and cause/effect relationships.
- It allows you to work on attention, observation, identification, and discrimination skills, as well as offering interesting support for language development.
- It's a fantastic tool for emotional self-regulation and helping children calm down when they feel stressed, anxious, or nervous.
- Sensory bottles are more than just a developmental, fun, and relaxing toy. Professionals also recommend their use for children with autism, ADHD, and people of any age who suffer from sensory, neurological, and/or motor disorders.
Inspired by Montessori philosophy, Maternzen lovingly designs and creates high-quality sensory bottles designed for all types of needs.
2 types of bottles for this model: Classic format with an aluminum cap or with a bamboo cap that includes an additional safety cap.
Plugs sealed with solvent-free hot glue.
Tips
Our sensory bags and bottles should be used under adult supervision with children under 36 months. The bags should not be bitten. If a leak occurs, stop using the bag and contact our customer service team. Although we carefully seal the caps on our bottles, we recommend checking the bottle's seal before handling it. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team.
Step by step
3/4 months: Baby will be able to work on gross motor skills by trying to grasp the bottle. They'll enjoy the oral phase by trying to bring it to their mouth. They'll be drawn to the colors, sounds, and movements the bottle makes when handling it.
6/9 months: Your baby will manipulate their sensory bottle more precisely (fine motor skills). They'll enjoy shaking it to experience its effects on their senses. They'll enjoy throwing it, if they have several, stacking them, rolling them, etc.
From 12 to 18 months: In addition to continuing to enjoy the above benefits, as babies enter toddlerhood, they will be more focused on the details of the bottle's contents. This will allow them to develop their curiosity, imagination, and language skills.
